Buyer's Guide
What is the difference between OEM, remanufactured, and compatible cartridges?
  What is OEM?

OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer. An OEM cartridge is also called genuine or original cartridges as these are made by the brand manufacturers such as HP, Canon, Xerox, etc.

What is Remanufactured?

A cartridge is considered “Remanufactured” when an empty OEM (original equipment manufacturer) cartridge goes through a toner or ink refilling process. Our remanufactured toners and inks are built to meet (or even exceed) OEM quality but are offered at a much cheaper price. Most of our remanufactured toners are remade by our skilled in-house technicians at our location in Orange County, California. The rigorous process of remanufacturing starts with disassembling and inspecting each cartridge that is sent to us. The cartridge and print head nozzles are cleaned, and any broken parts are fitted with working recycled components. The cartridge is then digitally filled with high quality toner, reassembled, and sent to quality control for thorough inspection and print tests. Finally, the cartridge is repackaged and is now fit to be called remanufactured!

What is Compatible?

A cartridge is considered “Compatible” when a cartridge is made of brand new, non-OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts by a third-party manufacturer. These compatible toners and inks are designed to meet (or even exceed) OEM quality but are offered at a much more affordable price.
